What load data do you have. Don't get me or gunny wrong, lots of folks here are willing to help and clarify questions with whatever experience and knowledge we have, just need more information and what we are dealing with other than 1 data point. Its slow at 2515fps. Using Sierra's data on the SMKs for the TMKs is not an issue.
Planning on using IMR 4350, along with a 168 SMK in a 30-06, using R-P cases. It appears to be rather long, and is beyond mag length, so i'm kinda worried about loading it to there due to a possible overpressure scenario lol. This bullet has also generated considerable interest among competitive Service Rifle match shooters. I load 168 Tmks at 39.4gr of varget to mag length. projectiles for shooting past 800 yards, it is still an excellent option for the 308 Win.
