Moving forward, commonly known for transmission faults. If it's a parking sensor fault it will tell you. The next logical step was that the short was in the harness meaning that the bumper needed removed (please let me know if anyone would like a write up on how to remove the front bumper because all i could find is the shittiest youtube video). Perhaps some of that product made its way on to the sensors? ***2/2/2019 Update*** Solved, Issue Hasn't Reoccurred Just today my front far left sensor started going off constantly when I go at low speeds. If the front sounders going off all the time then its probably one of the front sensors that's gone defective - I've seen this a few times where they get internally corroded and "sense" a non existent object permanently. I think it is mainly because of the weather/wind. The front parking sensors also only work at low speeds.
The sensor is directly where the wind is coming from. I decided to test on a day that was working by turning the car on (not start it) and applying the park break. Reference Library -Galaxy parking sensor faults. Once waters got in once it will happen again as the seals damaged, did have that in the back of my mind sadly, but for now fingers crossed.
Originally we took it into a Ford shop so they could do a diagnostic on it. Fast forward i had to take my car in for an issue with the turbo (wastegate solenoid) and the shop scanned my car for the SES light and it also pulled codes for the park sensor. I have been having issues with the parking sensors on my 2015 Escape Titanium 1.6l with the 301a technology package. With retrofitted everything except another slidey door! I started the car and there was no stupid parking sensor fault noise, i put everything back together and backed my car out of the garage and it still worked. 1. I opened my windows so i could hear the sensors detect me when i went in front of them. Run ForScan on a laptop and it will give you system fault codes.
