Great video Lawman, I really like how you demo so many different calibers, guns , optics,etc. The first is a 55-grain Ballistic Tip Varmint with an advertised muzzle velocity of 3350 fps from an 18-inch barrel. With a few small adjustments of the gas block, the new AR was running the Dog Town ammo with no problems.

Fine for smaller critters with thin hides,but for a hog shield I suspect the animal would run. Love the sound for sure and with a 24 you can reach out there and touch a yoteee.

We used Nosler Brass for our hand-loads, and bullets from Nosler and Hornady. Chronograhing a few rounds through the Oehler P35 gave us an average velocity of 3450 fps, only 50 fps shy of the advertised velocity.
