I think that ghost is supposed to be indicating that you can place an oxygen generator in that bay. Why does the tutorial insists on placing the thruster in the bay then ? I did try post in another post for astroneerxboxone but it did not let me post so I will post here. Español - Latinoamérica (Spanish - Latin America). Does anyone know how I can get past the "Connect the Small Generator to the Smelting Furnace to increase its performance" part?

Haha. You may also have to put the oxygenator in the 'thruster' bay before it will let you launch. Ended up just starting the game, watching a few videoes and learning on the go. Equip the generator in your hand, and as you pass by the furnace a blueprint shadow appears telling you to put it down at an exact spot! I can open my backpack, see a label that says 'SMALL PRINTER', but that's all I can figure out how to do. The tutorial isn't bugged or glitched, I've been through it a few times to check things out and it works perfectly if you just follow the instructions. It takes previous experience in the game (not just 20 min in tutorial) to easily complete some of these tasks. when I do the ALT+M1 there's just a red X that won't let me build, nevermind i got it, you have to equip the cannister. © Valve Corporation. Could someone tell me what the obviously dumb thing I'm doing is? The Smelting Furnace is a Crafting Module in Astroneer that is crafted at the Medium Printer. Im given a large word, many resources, a lot of unusable machines with stuff requiring the usage of those machines, and unreliable help in terms of what I am supposed to be doing. The truster goes underneath the shuttle not in the bay. Since I've never played before, I'm still puzzling out the interface. Is the concept of having instructions old fashioned these days?
